West Africa
Jesi - I lived in the Cape Verde Islands for a year as a Peace Corps English teacher. Of the 9 inhabited islands, I have travelled to 5 and have extensive knowledge of the others through my volunteer friends who were spread out. I know the hot spots, the most beautiful places, I know who to ask for, I know the language and many cultural tips, especially for women. It's an amazing culture.

Jae - I have spent five months travelling around West Africa.

David Carballo - Traveled throughout the area since 1993, most recently in area Nov 99. Have extensive experience in Mauritania, Mali, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinee-Bissau and Cote D'Ivoire. Can assist, in particular, with questions concerning elusive West African wildlife and birding area.

Zimbabwe
Dave Parkinson - Zimbabwe is going through a traumatic time, nevertheless we are optimistic for the future. Despite negative press, Zimbabwe is still relatively safe and has a lot to offer the touring visitors. Bulawayo tends to be neglected in favour of Vic Falls and Kariba, yet the splendour of the Matoba Hills should really not be overlooked, a lot of Zimbabwe's history is there. Great Zimbabwe is another spectale well worth seeing, it is still shrouded in mystery as to it's origins.

Darby Kilmer - I went to Harare in Zimbabwe last year between January and May. I also went to Bulawayo and quite a few of the outlying regions in the country. During this time I had the opportunity to learn a lot about the land and the political issues surrounding it.

Katheryn Demicco - I am a documentary photographer and film maker. I have been working in Zimbabwe for the last three months. I have been working in Africa in general for ten years. Returned on December 15, '00. I will be glad to help if I can.

Ralph Little - My wife and I went with nine others on an Overseas Adventure Travel trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana. It was a very good trip and was our third safari trip to Africa. Saw many animals with both vehicle and walking game drives. The Landella game lodges were very good with both food and facilities.
