Bolivia
Chris Sarage - I am living in Uyuni and operating my own restaurant. As well as experience in La Paz, I now have knowledge about Southwest Bolivia and have been living here over 5 years.

Brazil

Chile
Trent Hendrickson - CHILE! Oh where do I begin? This country is absolutely incredible. I can help with logistical information as well as how to get discounted airpasses for Chile. My favorite destinations are Easter Island and Puerto Montt.

Carolina Peters - I live in the Santiago de Chile and would like to offer information to travellers coming to my country.

Santiago Retamal - I can provide specific information about San Pedro de Atacama and the North, La Serena and Elqui Valley, Santiago, Viña del Mar, Valparaiso, Ski Centers, Easter Island, Juan Fernandez Archipelago, Lakes District, Chiloe Archipelago, Austral Way, Torres del Paine National Park and Patagonia.

Claudio Ferrada - Native of Chile and has some knowledge on the happenings in the Latin American culture.

Colombia

Guyana
Ted Sabat - Guyana is at the top of South America, it is actually the last link in the Caribbean chain, and as such has not only the lifestyle of the English speaking Caribbean but also the untouched Rain Forest of South America.

Paraguay
Karam Filfilan - Out of all the places I visited I loved Asuncion the most because it held such charm for me. Sheer friendliness and wit of the people. I stayed at the most amazing 2 dollar/night hotel and made numerous friends.

Peru

Uruguay
Mario Umpierrez - Uruguay is my home country and I can give some good info about it.

Mike - A couple of years ago I visited Punta del Este while on a trip to Buenos Aires. Punta is known as the Monte Carlo of South America. Great beaches and people. Somewhat of a ghost town in the winter, but it rocks during the summer.

Pablo Juele - I'm from Uruguay so that's my main area. The whole, small, beautiful country.

Venezuela
Miguel Serrano - Living in Caracas at the moment. Have travelled through all Venezuela and can give good tips. Love to help backpackers cause they always help me.

Nathan Higdon - I lived in Merida and travelled often throughout the country. I most familiar with the western side of Venezuela, ie, Maracay, Merida, San Cristobal, etc.

Dominic Hamilton - I've written the Venezuela Traveler's Companion guidebook to the country, and can answer most detailed questions on the country, and the weird ones. Check out my Venezuela site.

Multi-country
Claire Russon - Have covered the southern parts of Chile (including Easter Island), and most of Argentina. Am currently still on the road, and head to Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador over the next 6 weeks (til June 04).

Martin Persohn - I have travelled by land through all South American countries during the last 5 years. The parts I don't know are southern Argentina and Chile.

Isabelle Gendron - I recently spent 2½ months ('02) in South America (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia) and I'd be happy to answer your questions about anything!

Philip Blazdell - Brasil I know well after living here for over a year - from the Amazon to Rio I have mostly been there - by bus! Chile and Argentina I have travelled extensivly in - but only the southern regions - from Santiago level down to Puerto Williams - and you dont get more south then that. The other two countries are mostly ignored by travllers which is a pity - I want to change that. Expecially Uruguay.

Adam Malis - I spent 16 months in South America in 98/99 and can help those looking for county-to-country info on Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela.

Gabriela Hill - Argentina - Bolivia - Peru - Ecuador. I did a bicycle trip from Buenos Aires (my home town) to Cancun in Mexico.

Alexander Richter - Just returned from a trip to South America.

Ciro Spataro - Areas: Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego, Peru, Equador.

David Carballo - Brazil, Argentina, Equador, Chile, Peru and the Venezuelan hinterland are areas of specific experience. Argentine & Chilean Patagonia a particular favorite and have traveled over the the wilds of Tierra Del Fuego on both sides of the border. Will return from the Amazon and the Inca Trail December 99 with the skinny on Machu Piccu and the Upper Amazon.
