You can browse through the list of countries and cities below to get more specific, or you can get straight to finding airfare deals by using one of our two search engines on this page.

Johannesburg, South Africa
With the search box above, you can easily and quickly search all the big name airfare websites – including Orbitz, Travelocity, Expedia, CheapTickets, Hotwire, Priceline and even some of the lesser known websites like Kayak and CheapoAir. Instead of visiting each website individually and putting in the same travel information over and over again, you can input your dates and airport codes once and search as many of these companies as you want. Using these providers, you will have the most flexibility and fewest restrictions on your tickets, but you are likely to pay more for them.
If you are more interested in saving money and are not worried about a few restrictions on when you can fly, or about needing to change your flight dates, you will usually find better deals on airfare to Africa using the search box on the right. This box will let you search our consolidator airfares, although you cannot book the flights online. You can either call our toll-free number – which goes to a dedicated call center – or you can send your travel itinerary in via email and someone from the call center will contact you. Either way, you are likely to find a cheaper airfare using our consolidator, but you will have some restrictions on your ticket.
Whichever service you decide to use, here are a few tips to help you find cheap airfare to Africa:
- Consider flying into bigger African cities like Nairobi or Johannesburg. There is a lot more competition going to those cities, and frequently better deals to them from other continents. For example, flying into Nairobi vs. Kilimanjaro airport can save you hundreds of dollars. Yes, it is a bit of a bus ride to get to Kili, but many savvy travelers use Nairobi and save big bucks.
- Consider leaving on a Tuesday. Do you have a flexible schedule? Check different dates to see how it affects the price. One day can make a difference.
