Airfare to Resistencia, Argentina
Resistencia is the capital of Chaco region, Argentina. The city is located along the Negro River and is known nationally as the “city of sculptures” and “open air museum” due to the 500 monuments and other art works spread in the city. Several interesting museums will also catch your eye and keep you busy here.
The city is served by Resistencia International Airport (RES) , which is served by Aerochaco and Aerolíneas Argentinas. It receives direct flights from Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Roque Sáenz Peña. Alternatively, tourists can fly into Corrientes airport and then take a bus to Resistencia.
It is just as expensive to fly from Buenos Aires ($256RT on Aerolineas Argentinas) into Resistencia or Corrientes ($255RT on Aerolineas Argentinas). The choice is yours and depends on whether you fancy a bus trip or not (and/or visiting Corrientes as well).
If you fly from the USA, the cheapest tickets into Buenos Aires are from Miami ($797RT on Aerolineas Argentinas) ; but if you fly from the west coast, you can choose LAX ($897RT on Continental, Taca Intl Air, Delta or United). If you fly from Europe, London is an excellent choice.
In order to save some money make sure to be flexible. Check out the airlines’ special offers and plan your vacation around them. Avoid the high season and the weekends. Also, book your ticket in advance.
