Airfare to Boa Vista, Brazil
Boa Vista is located on the western bank of the River Branco and is the capital of the Brazilian state of Roraima. Boa Vista is the only Brazilian capital located above the Equator. The climate is hot and humid during the entire year, making it ideal for the growth of abundant vegetation.
The city doesn’t lack attractions of its own. Anaua Park, the biggest park in the north region of the country, offers a lot of possibilities to spend some fun time and Ayrton Senna complex is the most popular tourist area in the city.
The city is served by an airport which receives flights from Belem, Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro, as well as flights from Guyana and Suriname. The airlines serving the airport are Gol Airlines, Meta and TAM Linhas Aereas.
The easiest and cheapest way to get to Boa Vista is via Brasilia. The local flight costs little under $300 (round trip). Since there aren’t too many ways to save on this leg of the flight – aside from flying during the weekdays and booking your ticket slightly in advance – you should try to save money on the flight to Brasilia. Regardless of where you fly from (United States or Europe) there are quite a lot of airlines to choose from, including TAM Linhas Aereas, Air Canada, United, TAP Portugal, LAN Airlines and Air France. Check their special offers often and you’ll be able to find something to suit your budget. And of course, plan your flight in advance.
