Airfare to Campo Grande, Brazil
Campo Grande is located in Center-Western Brazil and is the capital city of Mato Grosso do Sul. It is important regional center for commerce and services. A modern city, Campo Grande is an important getaway into the southern part of the Pantanal and into Bonito.
The city is culturally diverse, with heritage going back to native Indians and diverse races (including Italians and Japanese). Aside from its interesting culture, the city also boasts many parks, museums, churches and a variety of interesting buildings. And when you get tired visiting places, you can relax in one of the malls.
The city is served by an international airport, served both by domestic and international flights. Azul, Gol Linhas Aereas, OceanAir, TAM Linhas Aereas and TRIP serve the airport, located just 7 km from downtown Campo Grande.
It is cheap and easy to fly into Campo Grande via Brasilia. The round trip flight from Brasilia starts at $203 (on TAM Linhas Aereas) and the flight takes only 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you fly from Sao Paulo the airfare and flight time are exactly the same as if you were to fly from Brasilia.
So in order to save money you should look whether flying into Sao Paulo is cheaper than flying into Brasilia. If your departure city is New York, it is slightly cheaper to fly into Brasilia (round trip airfare starts at $858 on TAM) than if you fly into Sao Paulo (round trip airfare starts at $877 on Copa Airlines). While if you fly from Europe (London) it’s cheaper to fly into Sao Paulo (round trip airfare starts at $1000 on TAP Portugal).
To save more money, plan to fly during mid-week and try to avoid the Catholic holidays as well. Also, make sure to book your flight in advance.
