Airfare to Feira de Santana, Brazil
Feira de Santana is a city in Bahia, Brazil, located just 115 km northwest of Salvador, Bahia’s capital city. The second largest city in Bahia, Feira de Santana is an important stopping point for travelers and is an important commercial and industrial center. It is famous for its festivals and parties. It also has some very interesting tourist attractions such as the market of popular arts.
The city is served by an airport but it is very small and has no control tower. Therefore it only offers the possibility for private planes to land.
The easiest way to get to Feira de Santana is to fly into Salvador and then catch a bus into the city. Salvador is served by a large airport and you can either fly directly from Europe or the United States or you can choose the route via Brasilia, which is typically the cheaper one.
Book your flight in advance and make sure to allow for a night in Salvador if needed. Check whether it’s cheaper to fly directly into Salvador or whether you would save money if you fly via Brasilia. Try to avoid the weekends and if you don’t plan to attend the festivals, it’s a good idea not to plan your vacation during one either.
