Airfare to Goiania, Brazil
Goiania is the capital of Goias, the largest Brazilian state. A mid-sized city, Goiania was planned in 1933 and an art deco style is abundant here. If you are into urban fun and sightseeing, the city won’t disappoint you. Commercial streets and shopping opportunities will please anyone. There are also some parks where you can relax and several museums to check out.
The city has a tropical climate, with the wet season lasting from October to April and the dry season from May to September. The average year-round temperature is 21C, perfect for exploring the sights.
The city is served by an airport, which receives daily flights from Sao Paulo and Brasilia. Gol Linhas Aereas and TAM Linhas Aereas offer flights from both cities and via those to other important Brazilian cities as well.
It is cheaper to fly from Brasilia into Goiania than to fly from Sao Paulo (you save about $60 for a round trip flight). And also, flying from abroad into Brasilia is usually cheaper than flying into Sao Paulo. Besides, there are several direct flights into Brasilia which can save you some money: from Lisbon (TAP Portugal), Buenos Aires (TAM Brazil) and Atlanta (Delta Airlines).
Additionally you can save more money by booking your flight in advance and avoiding the peak travel days and seasons. You can plan your vacation here in May or September, when the weather is still dry and the airfare is lower.
