Airfare to Manta, Ecuador
Manta is a major coastal city located in the Coastal Lowlands of Ecuador. It is the second largest seaport in Ecuador and a vacation resort area. The climate of the city is dry tropical, with average daytime temperatures around 25C (77F) and two seasons: dry and wet. The dry season lasts from June until November when the temperatures are warm and the humidity low, so it is nice to spend the days soaking up the atmosphere.
The city doesn’t lack things to do regardless of the time of the year when you visit. Every year in September, Manta hosts an International Theater Festival. Those who are into gambling can spend the nights trying their luck at the casinos. And of course, you should enjoy some sea and sand on one of the beautiful beaches.
The city is served by the Eloy Alfaro International Airport, located at the outskirts of the city. It receives daily flights from Quito and Guayaquil. The airlines serving Manta are: Aero Galapagos, Icaro and Tame. Aero Galapagos flies directly from the US (New York) but you’ll be making two stops along the way (in Guayaquil and Quito).
In order to save some money you should look at all possible connections to Quito and/or Guayaquil and then book the last leg of the flight. You can also save if you book ahead of time and avoid flying during the dry season or during the festivals.
