Airfare to Chiclayo, Peru
Chiclayo is the forth largest city in Peru, located 13 km inland from the Pacific coast and 770 km from the capital, Lima. The city doesn’t lack attractions of its own, but most visitors come here to visit the ruins located in the near-by towns of Sipan and Tucume.
In the city of Chiclayo you shouldn’t miss visiting Chiclayo market. Located just five blocks from Parque Principal (Plaza de Armas) it is open from sunrise to sunset and you can buy here anything you have ever imagined.
Airfare from Lima is relatively cheap so choosing a domestic flight is a good way to get here. If you are on a really low budget, you can also choose the buses from Lima (but you’ll be spending a lot of time on the road).
If you fly from the United States, you should look for flights into Lima and then take a connecting flight. Flights to Lima are offered by a variety of airlines, such as American Airlines, Copa Airlines and Continental Airlines. Airfare is quite affordable, especially if you fly outside the high season (spring and fall). Non-stop flights are slight more expensive than connecting flights.
