Airfare to Porlamar, Venezuela
Porlamar is the largest city on Isla Margarita, Venezuela. Since the arrival of air travel, Porlamar has changed from a tranquil fishing village to an island hub with restaurants, nightlife and shops. Most tourists coming here are Europeans and Venezuelans.
The city is served by an airport which receives direct flights from Europe, Canada, USA, Colombia and The Antilles. Some of the airlines serving the city include: TUIfly Nordic, Martinair, Avianca, Air Italy Polska, Air Transat, Conviasa, Rutaca Airlines, Aeropostal, Servivensa and AeroRepública.
To get to Porlamar, you usually need to fly into Caracas first, although it is possible to connect in other major Caribbean hubs as well (such as Aruba). If you fly from Europe, you can choose one of the direct flights from London (UK) to Porlamar.
The majority of international airlines fly into Porlamar only during the high tourist season (November to March). But you can always fly into Caracas and take a domestic flight into Porlamar at any time of the year. Avoid flying during the weekends and choose a mid-week flight to benefit from the lowest fares.
