These are questions we want to help you answer before you fill out an application to become a BootsnAll Member. We think it is important because the people who make up the BootsnAll community love travelling, meeting new people from different countries and cultures, and sharing their experiences with other like-minded people.
What is the BootsnAll Travel Community?
The BootsnAll Travel Community is made up of all our members, their experiences (in the form of travel stories, travel guides, travelogues, message board discussions, etc.) and their desire to explore and learn, and to help others on their own journeys. Members are aware and accept that they may be contacted via email by other members; however there is no obligation to do anything more than that.
For us on staff and for those in the BootsnAll community, in our travelling experiences we've been fortunate enough to stay with family, friends and their friends. The benefits of having a contact in an area you're visiting are tremendous and not at all one-sided. For example, the traveller receives insider knowledge and perhaps a place to stay, and the contact can show off their region and listen to the stories of the traveler.
