RTW TRAVELER PROFILE - Kirstin Mooney

Kirstin Mooney hadn't taken a vacation in 3 years and decided it was time to really get away. From April to July, 2001 she left to go see a friend in Australia and figured she was halfway round the world, so why not keep going? The biggest surprise of her trip was how easy everything was and Kirstin says she'd go RTW again in a heartbeat.

FEATURED MESSAGE BOARD THREAD

Amazing Race

Nick wants to know if you watch this Reality TV show since teams get to go to some spectacular locations all over the world. He also thinks the competitors need good observation skills and thinking on your feet is really what's important...just like travelling.

Do you watch the Amazing Race?

SITE OF THE MONTH

American Mile Markers

Don't even THINK about looking at this website unless you have plenty of time to kill. Matt Frondorf drove from the Statue of Liberty in New York to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransico, taking a photo at every mile. That translated into 3,304 images of the USA. Wow! It reminds me a little bit of that movie, Smoke.
