RTW TRAVELER PROFILE - Casey
It won't be until September of next year, but Casey and her husband are planning on being away for 12-24 months. Should be enough time to get them through the South Pacific, New Zealand, South East Asia, North Asia, India, and Europe. Casey figures that it's cheaper for the budget traveler to be gone a longer time than to keep shelling out for multiple shorter trips. We like that logic.

HOTELS - See profiles of hotels
If you need to stay in a hotel, it helps if you can have an idea of what the place is like. What's it look like? Do they have room service? A gym? Are they on the beach?
Now you can see that for yourself. Look at profiles of thousands of hotels around the world, listing rates, amenities, services, you name it. Check 'em out. Once you find what you need, you can also make your reservation online:

BOOTSNALL IN BALI
Nick has been wandering around Nusa Dua, checking out how the other half lives when they decide to travel to Bali. Fancy pools, massive suites and wonderful locations, for a mere US$1000 a night! Normally these places would be full at this time of year, but Bali is still struggling.
Nick has also enjoyed a few nights out with some visitors who met him via BaliBlog. Christine and Stu certainly seemed to enjoy their stay in Bali and Nick managed to keep himself out of trouble.

THE BOOTBLOG
For all the activity that's been going on around the office recently, you might wonder why the BootBlog has not seen more updates. We must be slacking - or it could be that we just haven't actually been IN the office. Sean and Chris had just returned from a whirlwind trip to San Francisco and immediately left for Chicago the weekend afterwards. If we haven't posted the photos by the time you read this newsletter, you have our permission to send us nasty emails.
And if the BootBlog doesn't update fast enough for you, check out some of the other blogs in the BootsnAll Travel Network: London Blog, Eurail Blog, Travel Gear Blog, and Written Road.

FEATURED MESSAGE BOARD THREAD
Is this guy for real?

People were wondering what was up with this email; Chris and Ant weren't sure either. Was it legit? Was it spam? So the community took it to the boards. See their comments, their replies, and a surprise:
