RTW TRAVELER PROFILE - freakwentflyer101

freakwentflyer101 took off in November for 6 months around South America, Australia & New Zealand, SE ASia and India. His reasons for going are fairly straight forward - girlfriend dumped him, job is going nowhere fast and living in Birmingham is like being on a slippery slope to Crap-s-ville. He was thinking his most indispensible item would be his crotch-less gimp suit, but he reckons he'll just take his sense of humour instead.

HOSTELS - New search city boxes

With so many hostels being added every month it can tough to make a choice. We've tried to make it a little easier by adding search boxes on a ton of our city pages so you can search all the hostels in that city at once. There's over 100 of these search boxes now and we'll be adding more over the coming months.

THE AUSTRALIABLOG

It's been a busy couple of weeks in Australia. Sean and Chris are pounding away at the BootsnAll 2004 goals while they're in the same place at the same time, as well as finding some time off for a road trip to Sydney, watching history being made, and meeting a BootsnAll author. Tonight we'll be celebrating Sean's birthday so keep an eye out for some photos of that event.

BOOTSNALL IN BALI

Nick's very happy to back in Bali after a brief visit to Australia. It's his first anniversary there, but he's still as excited about it as he was this time last year. He's on the hunt for a new place to live as well as meeting up with some familiar faces around Bali. We also spent some time re-designing the Bali Blog, so if it's been awhile since you've visited, check it out and let us know what you think. Hopefully it's easier to find all of the great information Nick's been gathering over the past year in paradise.

Stories and experiences of giving notice to leave work for 1 year. Ugh!

TRAVELERS TALK ABOUT...

When you're deciding things about your trip, be it where you stay or whether or not to buy insurance, it can be hard to make a decision. One of the best sources to turn to for help is other travelers. We've been asking travelers a lot of questions lately, and you can check out what they have to say about their own experiences with...

Would you like to put in your 2 cents on any of the above? Email Chris (chris at BootsnAll dot com), and he'll set you up.

YOU GOT QUESTIONS?

Well, we're always working to provide the answers. We're developing a knowledge base of answers to the most common queries we receive and a centralized place for the questions to come to means that there's usually a BootBoy awake somewhere in the world 24 hours a day!
