RTW TRAVELER PROFILE - Laura Clark

Laura Clark is busting her butt working two jobs to make her RTW dream a reality in January. Her Mum wishes she could join her on her year-long trek to SE Asia, the Pacific and the States, but Laura isn't sure about what her friends think of her "annoyingly excited" attitude. She's hoping they think she's excited "in a cute way, not 'Oh-my-god-someone-kill-her-now-just-to-shut-her-up' way." By taking on the world, Laura anticipates that this trip will greatly change her life and hopefully give her some insight on what she wants to do with it!

If you're planning your own RTW trip, you'll find plenty of answers to your travel questions, and can read tips and profiles from other round the world travelers.

THE BOOTBLOG

Exciting and fun things are happening at the Portland office! Donovan got married on August 21st to his lovely wife Carrie at a beautiful castle in Washington, and promises to upload pictures eventually. To celebrate their honeymoon, the duo headed over to Bali to soak up some sun and will be spending some time with Nick while they're there.

BootsnAll has also been getting some air time, along with BnA members Matt and Robin who talked about their upcoming trip on Fox TV.

BOOTSNALL IN BALI

Nick headed to Singapore last week for a super quick visa run that also included a tequila shopping spree at the duty free and a couple of bribes when he returned to Bali. Although the trip was exhausting, it didn't stop him from planning his next travels to the Gili Islands in a few weeks.

Nick has also been catching up with old friends who recently moved back to Bali. On Sunday, he headed to Dreamland Beach with Mike to enjoy some ocean time, and visited the Monkey Forest last week.

    TRAVELERS TALK ABOUT...

When you're deciding things about your trip, be it where you stay or whether or not to buy insurance, it can be hard to make a decision. One of the best sources to turn to for help is other travelers. We've been asking travelers a lot of questions lately, and you can check out what they have to say about their own experiences with...
