- Sitting two miles north of downtown Billings, the Billings Logan is closely situated to the city. Located on top of a geological formation known as "the Rims", the airport has a unique position above the city. Highway 3 and 27th street both feed directly to the entrance.
- Despite its name, there are no international flights going in or out of Billings. Although at one point there were flights to Canada, services no longer fly north. The furthest east that you can fly direct is to Minneapolis, Minnesota on Northwest Airlines. Billings is served by Northwest Airlines, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, Big Sky Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines.
- Due to the small nature of the airport, there is only a gift shop and a few places to grab a bite at Billings Logan. Children's play areas sit at both ends of the concourse. Adults in need of a distraction can cross the parking lot - across from the airport terminal sits the free-entry Peter Yegen, Jr. Yellowstone County Museum.

Alternative ways to get to Billings Logan International Airport:
- Taxi: City Cab and Yellow Cab both service Billings. Taxis from downtown Billings are approximately $10.
- Rail: There is no rail transport to the airport.
- Bus/Shuttle: Although Billings offers public transportation, there is no bus that runs directly to the airport at this time. Check the MET website for possible changes. There are shuttle services, however, they are usually for touring purposes, not to get to the airport.
