There are different types of Australian visas but the most common for touring Australia is a multiple entry tourist visa, which is valid for up to a year, with stays no longer than 90 days. Those who are not eligable for ETAs usually travel to Australia on the tourist single visa, with a three month stay.

Processing times may vary according to your nationality and date of departure. In some cases applications can take up to 90 days before a decision is made regarding the issuance of your visa.
