There are different types of Brazil visas but the most common for touring Brazil is a multiple entry tourist visa, which is valid for up to 5 years. A Brazil visa for overseas passport holders may be required when traveling to the country.

Business visa Type II exemptions: for the sole purpose of attending business meetings and/or discussions. For children between the ages of 3 months and 12 years proof of International Certificate of Vaccination against Polio is required to be presented along with the application. Applicants under 18 years of age must provide a letter from the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) authorizing consent to travel to and from Brazil. The signature must be notarized by a Notary Public. If the applicant is traveling with only one parent or guardian consent must be given by the parent or guardian not accompanying the applicant. If one of the parents or guardians is deceased a simple letter of explanation should be included and notarized as well. A photocopy of the child’s Birth Certificate is also required indicting the names of the parents who have signed the consent to travel letter.
