    No

  10. What is the route you plan to take/places you plan to visit?
I have vague plans only, depending on my success getting working holiday visas. My itinerary may change drastically. Who knows? The plan is to go to Australia, New Zealand, Bangkok as a jumping-off point in Asia, through Europe overland and then home.

  11. Why did you decide to take this trip? What got you into this type of travel, and/or influenced you to go?
I don’t want to live on drop zones anymore, and a friend suggested I travel…

  12. What is your biggest fear about this trip?
    Running out of money.

  13. Are your family, friends, co-workers, etc., supportive of you? What is their opinion of your going around the world?
    For the most part.

  14. How much planning and preparing have you done?
    Winged it a lot

  15. What are you packing? What do you consider your most indispensable item(s)?
I am packing heavier than I would like because I want to be available to work at anything, including temp office work. My most important/indispensable items are my paper credentials, money and my address book.

  16. How do you think your round-the-world trip will change your life? How do you think it will affect and change you as a person?
No idea yet. We shall see what happens when I get there.

  17. If you had to sum up your thoughts/feelings about your round-the-world trip in one sentence, what would it be?
Fear, trepidation, excitement, like doing my first skydive all over again, and it just seems like time to do it.

  18. Why do you think people should go on round-the-world trips? Why not just take a regular old one- or two-week vacation instead?
You don’t see anything in two weeks.

  19. What is the biggest myth that people have about round-the-world traveling?
No idea, but I’ll keep you posted.

I have a curiosity to see what is around the corner. There may be nothing special, but I haven’t seen it for myself yet. Plus, you meet a lot of new and interesting people.

  21. What is your advice for people planning their own RTW trip?
No idea yet, but I’ll keep you posted.
