Why Study TEFL in Zhuhai, China
The city of Zhuhai is one of China's Special Economic Zones. It's located in the south of the Guangdong province on China's southeast coast. Zhuhai has a population of over 1 million people, but if that's not enough big-city for you, the Special Administrative Region of Macau is nearby, and Hong Kong is just across the Pearl River Delta.
China is one of the fastest-growing markets for English teachers, so training for your TESOL certificate here in China is an excellent way to get a foothold in the job market.
Our Zhuhai TEFL Program
Our TEFL course in Zhuhai is in the heart of this busy coastal city. China is a huge country, to be sure, but our location near the major international airport in Hong Kong will give you access to not only the rest of China but the rest of the world. Hong Kong is just over an hour away from Zhuhai by ferry, so it's easy to visit Hong Kong for the day or weekend.
Other major cities near our Zhuhai location include Guangzhou (one of China's great cities), Shenzen and Macau. The Special Administrative Region of Macau borders Zhuhai, and a visit this former Portuguese province just might fool you into thinking you're actually in Europe.
Where
- Zhuhai lies on the southeast coast of Guangdong, one of China's most economically vibrant provinces.
- Hong Kong is just over an hour away by ferry, and Macau borders Zhuhai so is only 15 minutes away by bus.
- Shenzen and Guangzhou are also relatively nearby - Shenzen is a one-hour ferry ride and Guangzhou is a two-hour bus ride.
Why

- You can take Chinese language classes during the course (this is optional, for a small extra fee).
- As a trainee, you'll get three free meals a day on weekdays, and some free meals on weekends as well.
