Louise Douglas's through with working for a while, so it's off to the ocean.

I have decided work is overrated, and hope to return to the academic cocoon in the fall. In the meantime, I am going on a not-quite round-the-world, more like round-the-Atlantic tour on a boat. I leave on Valentine's Day for London, and from there to Norway, Germany, Portugal, across to the Caribbean and Central America, then back to Europe to meet up with friends in Italy and attend the Monaco Grand Prix.
Who am I? I'm Louise Douglas. Here's a little more about me, and some on why I'm doing this trip and how it all come together.
