Around the world in 2015

Hi guys!
For this trip I'm planning on a month in each country. With the exception of Europe and Southeast Asia where I'll be visiting neighbouring countries like Romania, Bulgaria, Cambodia and Laos.

A big part of my trip will be hiking Patagonia, Safari in the Serengeti and climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro.

The advice I'm looking for is dates. When is the best time to climb Kilimanjaro and to do safaris? Any feedback you can offer is great. I'm trying to aim for the shoulder seasons, again Europe being the exception.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

G'day Tony from lovely Romania (right smack in the summer!)

Here are some resources for you: : "January, February, and September are considered to be the best months in terms of weather, and correspondingly are the busiest months"

As for the safaris , they depend on what countries you want to go. For example, in Kenya the best time to visit would be during the dry seasons -- January through March and July through October; while in Tanzania, the best time to witness the Great Migration is probably February - March when the wildebeest and zebra have their young, while June to November is best to visit all parks.

A simple search online will give you plenty of information - if not too much! - to plan your trip around these times.

When do you plan to be in Romania? Let me know if you need any advise regarding Budapest and Romania.
