If you've ever talked to someone who's visited Siena, you'll have heard them sigh at the memory of this picture-perfect little city in the Tuscan hills, even if they only spent a day there. To really do it justice, however, you've got to spend some time - so make the most of it with a Siena vacation rental.
The majority of the Siena vacation rentals are typical Tuscan farm houses, villas or country estates just outside the city. These properties are quintessentially Tuscan, and will give you the experience of living under your very own Tuscan sun! The city's cathedral is a must-see, and the main square - the Piazza del Campo - is the perfect place to people-watch, especially in the evenings. The city's most famous annual event, the Palio horse race, makes it impossible to find a place to stay during parts of the summer - so you'll want to book your vacation rental in Siena well in advance if you're planning to attend.
