Like an 8-year-old’s first trip to Disney.

  18. Why do you think people should go on round-the-world trips? Why not just take a regular old one- or two-week vacation instead?
You never relax properly and you always have an end date which is close, and you’re often herded about by travel reps.

  19. What is the biggest myth that people have about round-the-world traveling?
The great unwashed. It doesn’t have to be sleeping rough etc.

  20. Why do you like to travel?
    New culture, broader horizons.

  21. What is your advice for people planning their own RTW trip?
Use the web extensively. Everything is there. Don’t take too much stuff and always keep an open mind.
