finish off in Canada (with my sis).
A very bad case of the travel bug... love visiting new places and meeting
new people and need see to the world.
My family are worried but know that it will make no difference. Very
supportive though. Most of my friends are also travelling or are going. My
co-workers don't know yet...oops!
Just Enough
Socks, pants and knife. The rest I guess you can get cheap in SE Asia. Also
my tent probably...despite the fact I won't need it till S. America.
thats the exciting thing..i dont know how it will change me thats the draw.
I await the effect vastly different cultures will effect me...books can
only do so much.
It's been a long time coming.
Maybe then they may open their eyes, walk somewhere, read something,
travel away from the swimming pool of an all-inclusive hotel and sample
someone else's life.
Everyone will rob you and that you need money to have a good time.
The butterflies of the initial landing in a new place not knowing where
you are or where to go and then finding that first nice hostel.
Shouldn't really advise as I haven't done it myself yet, but just to enjoy
the experience.
