BootsnAll's Top 10 Destinations for Independent Travelers for 2009

For 2008 we at BootsnAll decided to recommend destinations we think are very special and worth considering for anyone in the independent travel community. The writers and editors got together and came up with our top 10, which we published in early January, 2008.

You'll see we chose a group of countries, regions, and cities from different corners of the world. Some are obvious choices, while others are destinations many people wouldn't normally consider.

For 2009 we want to open up the nomination process to members of our community, as well as the general public. Please use the form on this page to nominate your favorite destination, and tell us why you think it's worthwhile. Feel free to nominate as many places as you like (one at a time), though you should be aware that these are just nominations, and not a voting process. In other words, nominating Las Vegas 15 times doesn't mean it will make the list.

In early 2009 we'll publish our new Top 10 Destinations for Independent Travelers, and we are really looking forward to hearing your suggestions to make the list as interesting as possible.
