    India, Nepal, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, NZ, Fiji, Raratonga, USA

  11. Why did you decide to take this trip? What
    got you into this type of travel, and/or influenced you to go?

    Wanted this for years. To open my eyes to things I haven’t thought about etc…
    Influenced by my grandad’s war experiences.

  12. What is your biggest fear about this
    trip?

    Something happening to loved ones whilst away.

  13. Are your family, friends, co-workers, etc.,
    supportive of you? What is their opinion of your going around the
    world?

    Everyone is cool without exception, well that’s what they say.

    done?

    To the Nth Degree

    your most indispensable item(s)?

    Books, toiletroll, First aid kit.

  16. How do you think your round-the-world trip
    will change your life? How do you think it will affect and change you as
    a person?

    I wish I knew. Whether I come home changed the same or don’t come home at
    all I have to do it anyway.

  17. If you had to sum up your thoughts/feelings
    about your round-the-world trip in one sentence, what would it
    be?

    Excited, nervous, proud.

  18. Why do you think people should go on
    round-the-world trips? Why not just take a regular old one- or two-week
    vacation instead?

    To immerse in other cultures and to find out capabilities in different
    circumstances.

  19. What is the biggest myth that people have
    about round-the-world traveling?

    MALARIA!!!! Can’t get a good piece of balenced advice anywhere.

  20. What is your advice for people planning
    their own RTW trip?

    Have fun!! The preparation has to be the worst bit.
