    Travel accross America

  11. Why did you decide to take this trip? What got you into this type of travel, and/or influenced you to go?
    Always wanted to do it. There is a big world out there and I want to experince it.

  12. What is your biggest fear about this trip?
    Running out of cash

  13. Are your family, friends, co-workers, etc., supportive of you? What is their opinion of your going around the world?
    Everyone thinks it is awesome. Parents a bit worrried!

    Just Enough

  15. What are you packing? What do you consider your most indispensable item(s)?
    I am in a packing dilema.
    Indespensible items – contact lenses, MP3 player, flip flops, tooth brush.

  16. How do you think your round-the-world trip will change your life? How do you think it will affect and change you as a person?
    I think it will make me a lot more independent and am hoping it will give me time to reflect and decide what I want to do with the rest of my life.

  17. If you had to sum up your thoughts/feelings about your round-the-world trip in one sentence, what would it be?
    Very excited and a little bit nervous

  18. Why do you think people should go on round-the-world trips? Why not just take a regular old one- or two-week vacation instead?
    Think you need to get out of your comfort zone to truly experince new things and develop as a person.

  19. What is the biggest myth that people have about round-the-world traveling?
    Probabaly that it will all be amazing. I am sure there will be some low points, although hopefully not very many.

  20. Why do you like to travel?
    I like to experience new places and meet new people. Also I like the feeling of freedom of being away fom the relative normality of home.

  21. What is your advice for people planning their own RTW trip?
    Don’t spend too much time deliberating, once you ahve made your mind get your tickets booked. Do some research into where you are going but alow your itinery to be flexible. You are getting away from the constarints of everyday life so don’t want to be constarined on your trip by a strict time table.
