    Europe to Israel, Cairo, Capetown, India, China, Japan, South East Asia, Australia, NZ, Polynesia, South America

11. Why did you decide to take this trip? What got you into this type of travel, and/or influenced you to go?
    Now is the time to go. I'm graduating in May. I've down two Semester's at Sea, and now I want to backpack solo.

12. What is your biggest fear about this trip?
    Missing my neices growing up.

13. Are your family, friends, co-workers, etc., supportive of you? What is their opinion of your going around the world?
    So-so, many people are jealous, family thinks I'm ridiculous.

    Winged it a lot

    Passport, babypowder for hair, wetnaps, travel towel, sleep sheet

    I hope it will show me a new career path.

17. If you had to sum up your thoughts/feelings about your round-the-world trip in one sentence, what would it be?
    Damn excited!

18. Why do you think people should go on round-the-world trips? Why not just take a regular old one- or two-week vacation instead?
    To each their own, it is for certain people and not for others.

19. What is the biggest myth that people have about round-the-world traveling?
    It's too expensive.

    To see the life of the world.

21. What is your advice for people planning their own RTW trip?
    find locals to get to know.
