Best BootsnAll Travel Photos: October 2010

I don’t know what the weather’s like in your neck of the woods, but outside my window as I write this it’s a gorgeous sunny day – so even though I know the calendar is telling me that it’s early November, I’m having a bit of trouble adjusting to the idea that the year is less than two months from being in the rear-view mirror. I am in Portland, Oregon, however – which means some gray, rainy day is just around the corner to remind me what time of year it is.

In other words, I’m going to be thankful for this spectacular day while it’s here, and I’m going to need travel photos to inspire me even more in the coming months. What better place to start than this selection of the best travel photos from BootsnAll’s daily travel photo site?

We feature beautiful travel photography each week on our travel photo site, and then once a month we highlight a few of the best of those photographs. Through the daily photo site and our monthly feature we hope we can bring you a little travel inspiration in your day – whether it’s just a few moments of a virtual vacation while you sit at your desk, or the impetus to book your next trip somewhere far away.

And for those of you who bring a camera with you when you leave your house, we also hope this is an opportunity for you to share the best travel photos you’ve taken with others (more about how to submit your own photos at the bottom of this article).

Here are the best travel photos BootsnAll featured in October 2010.

So, have you sent in a photo to be featured on BootsnAll yet? I don’t want to hear the excuse that you’re not a professional photographer – that doesn’t matter. If you travel and you take photographs while you’re traveling, I want to see your best shots. Remember, even if it’s a picture of your hometown, that’s a travel photo to anyone who hasn’t been there. Send in your photos, people, I want to see them!
