Hobart Travel Facts
City Name: Hobart
Where is it located?: Hobart is located on the southeast coast of Tasmania. Tasmania is an island state off the south of Australia, on the eastern side.
Why do people go there?: Hobart is the capital of Tasmania, a state only 3% of all tourists to Australia get to check out. There isn’t a lot to do in this town compared to rockin Sydney, but there is the Cascade Brewery and Cadbury chocolate factory to keep you entertained as well as excellent cool-vine wines.
How do travelers get there?: Travelers who come to Hobart fly, unless they have yacht connections. Alternatively, those who wish to ferry across from Melbourne to the north of Tasmania can do so. This is especially popular with those who wish to do the Overland Track and then head down to the city for some R&R.
