Eugene
A city that never seemed to escape the liberalism of the sixties, Eugene is Oregon's second largest city, home to the the biggest university in Oregon. The city is a hotbed of progressive and radical thought, mixed with green politics. For travelers, although parts of Eugene are in a time warp, the true beauty is outside of the city in the green Emerald Valley.
