Inverness is the gateway to the Scottish Highlands and a great place to base yourself as you explore the whisky distilleries, castles, battlefields and lochs that make this area of Scotland so unique.
Of course it’s also the jumping off point for taking your chances on Loch Ness, looking for the infamous monster that may, or may not, live in it’s heretofore unplumbed depths.
