The Route
In Their Words
Here's what Keith Nobile shared about their RTW journey:
Why did you decide to take this trip? What got you into this type of travel, and/or influenced you to go?
I just got home from Iraq and it made me realize how much of this world I haven’t seen yet. I want to exprience as many different cultures as possible.
How do you think your round-the-world trip will change your life? How do you think it will affect and change you as a person?
I really don’t know yet. I hope it will make me feel a little more at peace with myself.
Why do you think people should go on round-the-world trips? Why not just take a regular old one- or two-week vacation instead?
People get caught up (espcially in the US) with STUFF. They gather so much stuff, until that stuff owns them. Instead of gathering, people should exprience things that will always give them a sense of meaning.
What is your advice for people planning their own RTW trip?
Do not listen to people who discourage you about it and make sure to have fun 🙂
What is your biggest fear about this trip?
Being alone…
Have you traveled around the world before?
No.
