finish off in Canada (with my sis).Why did you decide to take this trip? What

got you into this type of travel, and/or influenced you to go?

A very bad case of the travel bug… love visiting new places and meeting

new people and need see to the world.Are your family, friends, co-workers, etc.,

supportive of you? What is their opinion of your going around the

world?

My family are worried but know that it will make no difference. Very

supportive though. Most of my friends are also travelling or are going. My

co-workers don’t know yet…oops!How much planning and preparing have you

done?

Just EnoughWhat are you packing? What do you consider

your most indispensable item(s)?

Socks, pants and knife. The rest I guess you can get cheap in SE Asia. Also

my tent probably…despite the fact I won’t need it till S. America.How do you think your round-the-world trip

will change your life? How do you think it will affect and change you as

a person?

thats the exciting thing..i dont know how it will change me thats the draw.

I await the effect vastly different cultures will effect me…books can

only do so much.If you had to sum up your thoughts/feelings

about your round-the-world trip in one sentence, what would it

be?

It’s been a long time coming.Why do you think people should go on

round-the-world trips? Why not just take a regular old one- or two-week

vacation instead?

Maybe then they may open their eyes, walk somewhere, read something,
