In Their Words
Here's what Serafin Tijerina shared about their RTW journey:
Why did you decide to take this trip? What got you into this type of travel, and/or influenced you to go?
Because my wife and I are going to get our 65th of age in 2007 and we are thinking to spare time enjoying ourselves and the wonderfuls of the world.
What is your biggest fear about this trip?
Isolation, hot weather – 90 fahrenheit degrees or more, miserable places.
What is your advice for people planning their own RTW trip?
Take your own chance.
What is the biggest myth that people have about round-the-world traveling?
I do not know.
How do you think your round-the-world trip will change your life? How do you think it will affect and change you as a person?
To have a profound encounter with us and our selves, enjoyed and spare time, to know the wonders of the world – natural and sofisticated.
What are you packing? What do you consider your most indispensable item(s)?
Cloths, bath items, camera, maps, some medicine, e-mails available, money.
