Why did you decide to take this trip? What got you into this type of travel, and/or influenced you to go?
I have always wanted to see what the rest of the world has to offer and I am at a point in my life where I can afford to go and have nothing holding me back (no kids, no partner). The influence is simply the mystery of where fate will take you once you step off that plane.
If you had to sum up your thoughts/feelings about your round-the-world trip in one sentence, what would it be?
Opportunity of a lifetime.
What is the biggest myth that people have about round-the-world traveling?
That it can only be done by those who have lots of money and time…not true. A car costs far more than a RTW trip and people don’t usually think twice about that.
Why do you like to travel?
To see different cultures, meet new people and learn more about myself.
