I have been travelling off and on since 1971. I have missed some countries and would really take a complete RTW, lacking funds but plenty of time. May be my last chance at my age. - What is your biggest fear about this trip?
Insufficient funds due to living completely from retirement pension. - Are your family, friends, co-workers, etc., supportive of you? What is their opinion of your going around the world?

I will grow even more, satisfy life-long dreams of freelance travel and writing and teaching. - If you had to sum up your thoughts/feelings about your round-the-world trip in one sentence, what would it be?
I am a citizen of the world and planet Earth is my home - Why do you think people should go on round-the-world trips? Why not just take a regular old one- or two-week vacation instead?
To satisfy there dreams and know first hand what you have always wondered and wanted to do. - What is the biggest myth that people have about round-the-world traveling?
The world is not safe, certain countries may dislike Americans and to travel would be dangerous - Why do you like to travel?
It broadens my horizon, I enjoy meeting new people and travelling. Enjoy the adrenaline rush of the idea of travel to distant countries and an opportunity to teach and give back what I have learned. - What is your advice for people planning their own RTW trip?
Just do it! Exercise your freedom to do it.
