In Their Words

Here's what Rosita Pigliapoco shared about their RTW journey:

Why did you decide to take this trip? What got you into this type of travel, and/or influenced you to go?

A friend of mine….many years ago…never actually decided to leave, and still cannot settle down…I guess it is time to do it, or I’ll never be able to calm down and make decisive plans here and in my life…

What is your biggest fear about this trip?

to lose all (although it is not much) I’ve done so far and not to find it when I’m back….talking about work, mainly….

If you had to sum up your thoughts/feelings about your round-the-world trip in one sentence, what would it be?

“the” chance of my life

What is the biggest myth that people have about round-the-world traveling?

that you nee A LOT OF money

2026 Context
