Shelley Seale is an Austin-based freelance journalist who writes about lifestyle, travel, health, education, business, and nonprofit issues. She writes about her adventures around the world at her blog, Trading Places. She has written for National Geographic, USA Today, Andrew Harper Traveler magazine, Yahoo, CNN, the Austin Business Journal, Austin Woman, and many others. Keith Hajovsky is a travel photographer and guide, who specializes in Asia and Central America. In addition to photography he blogs about his travels at Travel Sherpa Keith, and is involved with a nonprofit called WOWi, which aims to bring digital media skills to children in developing countries around the world. When not writing or photographing around the world, Shelley and Keith are into farmers markets, indie movies, yoga, soccer, and craft beer. Shelley has zip lined in Thailand, walked a llama in Chile, and been robbed by a monkey in India. Keith has trekked the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal and narrowly escaped death on a boat in Laos; and together they boarded down a live volcano in Nicaragua. A favorite quote is by Helen Keller: “Life is a daring adventure, or nothing at all.”
